Most quilters love hand and domestic machine quilting. However, if you love the piecing but find the thought of quilting your project daunting, our Long Arm Quilting service may provide the ideal solution

Edge to Edge Quilting

We have a wide range of edge-to-edge patterns to complement your quilt design. Our prices include all the 100% cotton threads needed for the Long Arm Quilting - we normally use King Tut threads

The price is for a simple, lightly quilted result - if you would like quilt to be more heavily quilted then please add £20 to these prices. Before we begin the work, we will discuss your requirements and suitable patterns

Prices - Edge to Edge Quilting

Cot - up to 40 x 50 inches - £50.00
Lap - up to 60 x 60 inches - £60.00
Twin - up to 70 x 90 inches - £95.00
Large Twin - up to 80 x 100 inches - £110.00
Queen - up to 90 x 110 inches - £125.00
King - up to 110 inches square - £135.00
Super King - up to 120 inches square - £150.00

Wadding

We offer a wide range of waddings to be used in your quilt:
Hobbs Polydown - 100% polyester
Hobbs Premium - 80% Cotton / 20% Polyester - Natural
Hobbs Premium - 80% Cotton / 20% Polyester - Black
100% bleached cotton

Prices for wadding will depend on the size of your quilt.

Backing

All the 100% cottong fabrics on sale in the shop are suitable for your quilting backing; we will advise the amount you need. We also have a selection of extra-wide backings available. If you provide your own backing please ensure it is 100% cotton, and at least 4 inches bigger on all sides than your quilt top. Any seams should be pressed open.

Discounts

If you are currently attending a Puddleducks course, or made the quilt at a Puddleducks workshop, then you will receive a 20% discount on the quilting charge (this does not apply to wadding). Duck cards do not apply on the quilting service
